Beak & Ally: Unlikely Friends
Blooms Park
18 signs – 1/2 mile

Bunbun & Bonbon: Fancy Friends
Costello Park
15 signs – .13 mile

About the book:

Ally the alligator is perfectly happy being alone . . . until one day a noisy bird named Beak lands on her snout. Much to Ally’s annoyance, this chatty bird likes to sing all the time and has chosen a nearby tree to build his new nest. Even worse, he insists that he and Ally will be best friends. In fact, he has all kinds of friendship goals in mind, and it seems nothing Ally says will convince him that she’d rather just be alone. Nothing beats peace and quiet . . . except for maybe a new best friend?

About the book:

Bunbun has it all: a delightful Bunbun nose, a winning Bunbun smile, a ridiculously cute Bunbun tail, and not one, but two adorable Bunbun ears. But Bunbun doesn’t have a friend — until Bunbun meets Bonbon. Learning how to be fancy and eating donuts for lunch are two of the duo’s many adventures in this young graphic novel.

About the walk:

Located right behind the library – Blooms Park is a perfect place for a walk!

Starting near the trail entrance next to the library this Storywalk® has 18 signs situated over a half mile stretch of the trail. Make sure you bring some water though – the hills on this trail can be tiring! Even better, bring a snack or lunch and celebrate finishing with a picnic in the park! Don’t forget to swing by the library after to pick up some new books to read!

About the walk:

Located next to the community center – Costello Park is a perfect place for a light walk!

Starting near the trail entrance next to the gazebo this Storywalk® has 15 signs situated over just under a quarter mile stretch of trail. Why not make a day of it and visit the dog part or the community center. You could even bring a snack or lunch and celebrate finishing with a picnic in the park?!
